Purpose of Research and Specific procedures to be used: In this study, you will be asked to participate in a stress measurement exercise and you will watch a video followed by music and asked to take a short 1 question survey, rating your level of stress. This should take less than 3 minutes. Please answer the question to the best of your ability there is no wrong or right answer.
Duration of Participation: Your participation should take less than 3 minutes.
Benefits to the individual: Your participation will contribute to the psychological knowledge on stress levels related to the type of music or video you may watch or listen to.
Risks to the Individual: You may be startled based on the type of music choice or video you watch, completely safe.
Anonymity: Strict anonymity of all data will be upheld. Your responses will remain anonymous and will not be associated with any identifying information. Your informed consent will be kept separate from your response to the question. The project's research records may be inspected by the University of North Florida Institutional Review Board or its designees to ensure participants' rights are being protected.
Compensation to the Individual: There is no compensation for your participation in this study.
Voluntary Nature of Participation: Your participation in this study is strictly voluntary. You do not have to participate. If you agree to participate you can withdraw at any time without penalty. You do not have to answer any question you find objectionable.
